Little Man Baby Shower Ideas

My sister Jen, my daughter Allison, my sister-in-law Taz and my neice Amy hosted a shower for my niece who is expecting a boy in May. Here are some of the ideas we took from others online and some that we created ourselves.
Amy ordered this beautiful cake for the occasion.
This is the invitation that Jen and Amy had created.
I created these onsies for the "little man". Most were just Iron on transfers, I bought the "tux" already completed.
Keeping with the theme I made a pasta salad out of bowtie pasta. I actually found the blue pasta at TJ Maxx, I used green food coloring to color the regular pasta. I was quite surprised at the color..it matched very well! I "borrowed" this plaque idea from another blog, Allison found the green cups and the blue pretzels. We also had a  delicious candied walnut and strawberry salad, another pasta salad, some finger sandwiches, fruit kabobs and cupcakes..all in all the table was just beautiful.
The sweets table was outstanding also, blue chocolate bark, colored chocolate suckers, the cake of course and cupcakes that I made keeping with the blue/green theme.

We had two punches, one green and one blue..both downloaded from the internet. They both were delicious!
Allison spent the day cutting out bowties and mustaches for the cups and straws. We used only blue and green straws and a blue tinted jar with some wrapping paper in the bottom to hold the straws up high enough to keep the mustaches intact.
This is my beautiful sister Jenny modeling our 'staches and bow ties.
The shower was for my niece on the right and on the left is another niece who is also pregnant due in June. They got in on the mustache action also! In all it was a very good day. Lots of laughs and some great gifts for the mommy to be.
